WHO ARE WE

For many years SEEDS has helped local schools, colleges and youth organisations through:

Assisting with funding of environmental projects in Derbyshire and Derby City schools.

Annually providing Travel Insurance to over 2000 school trips, with the proceeds being used to fund Environmental Education Projects.

HOW COULD WE HELP YOU

In recent years we have developed our Award Scheme to help even more groups improve the Environmental Education they can provide.

We have increased the amount of money available in our existing Awards Scheme and integrated an Eco-schools Award to help newly registered and existing Eco-Schools to implement their Action Plans.

We have also introduced Teacher Bursaries which can be used to pay the fees for Environmental / Sustainable Development Teacher Training Courses and/or teaching supply cover for staff on such courses.

We are working with some Community Transport organisations to help reduce your Transport costs.
